This week I will set an intention of love, both for myself and others by taking the following steps.
Each day this week I will consciously decide to love myself. Next time I'm looking in the mirror I will say I love you, looking in my eyes and seeing my face as perfect just the way it is. I will repeat this slowly three times, no matter how silly I feel at first. I will imagine the words circulating through my blood stream and feel the warmth and joy of them as they cleanse me from the inside out.
Each day this week I will be conscious of how I'm thinking about myself and the words I use to talk to myself. Whenever I find myself thinking a negative thought, I will immediately wash it away with the positive energy of three kind thoughts. Thoughts create words, words create perspectives and your perspective creates your world. Create a world of beauty and love to live in, not one of fear and shame.
Each day this week I will begin to silently tell everyone and everything I meet that I love them. Whether it is a gorgeous flower on the side of the road, a maniac driving in rush hour traffic, or a stray dog sleeping on the sidewalk. I will take a moment to appreciate their existence in the world, and understand that there is something I am meant to learn from their presence in my life. I will remember that everything has a purpose, and that we are all connected in the web of existence.
I love you, just as you are, and always will. Be love and share love. Forget everything else the world has taught you, and choose to stop spreading fear and negativity.
